Key Takeaway

For a Singapore dental clinic in 2026, the decision is not which AI is best — they're mostly within 10% on raw call handling. The decision is which one sits closest to your existing booking system, your local payment + tax setup, and the PDPA stance you can defend. The eight tools below are evaluated on those axes, not on demo polish.

Why this comparison exists

We are one of the eight vendors on this list. Logara is included with the same evaluation criteria as the other seven — pricing, residency, integrations, failure modes. We don't score ourselves higher. We also don't pretend competitors are bad at things they're actually good at. If you want a partial view, read the vendor's own listicle. If you want a comparison that a SG clinic owner can act on, read this one.

Three failure modes show up across every vendor we've tested: (1) the AI handles the first call fine but drops the booking because the integration silently fails, (2) the AI quotes a price the clinic didn't authorise because the price list wasn't synced, (3) the AI forwards an unhappy caller to a US-based human escalation queue, which doesn't answer for hours. The tools below are scored partly on how often each fails in those three patterns.

How we picked the 8

We started with every vendor that shows up in Google.com.sg organic top-30 for the query “AI receptionist for dental clinics” as of May 2026, plus the four vendors most cited inside ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews on the same query. That deduped to ten. We dropped two that don't serve Singapore at all (no SGD billing, no SG number support). The remaining eight are below.

1. Logara (us)

Headline pricing: SGD $1,499/month for the full stack (SEO + AEO + Reputation, AI Receptionist included from month 4). AI Receptionist standalone: SGD $549/month.

What we actually do: Vapi-powered phone agent with a dental preset (Invisalign cost ranges, implant consultation, emergency routing, paediatric handover). Books directly into Cliniko, Calendly, Google Calendar, or via Zapier. Owner gets a WhatsApp summary per call. Forwarded calls route to the clinic's own line if the AI flags a complex case.

PDPA stance: SG-resident processing for clinic-identifiable data. DPA signed before engagement. UEN on the DPA.

Where we fall short: we don't have a Singlish dialect tuning beyond what GPT-4o ships with. If your patients use heavy Hokkien/Teochew code-switching, expect occasional “sorry, could you repeat that?” loops. Working on a Singlish prompt overlay for Q3 2026. Also: no native NextHealth integration yet — that ships via Zapier for now.

Best fit: SG dental clinics doing 80-400 calls/month who want SEO + reviews + receptionist as one billing line in SGD with a 48-hour speed promise.

2. Arini

Pricing: Typically USD $499-799/month depending on call volume. Singapore clinics see USD billing, which means FX swings and no SGD tax invoice.

What they do: Dental-specific AI receptionist with a strong cosmetic / orthodontic specialisation. Industry-leading on accent handling and complex treatment vocabulary (Invisalign sequencing, ortho retainer instructions). Heavy US clinic concentration.

PDPA stance: US-resident. Cross-border transfer clauses required in the DPA — most SG clinics need their lawyer to review.

Best fit: SG cosmetic-dental clinics with a US-trained or US-returning clinical team that's comfortable with USD billing and a US-based vendor relationship.

3. Dentina

Pricing: USD $349-549/month tiered by call volume. Some clinics report custom enterprise tiers.

What they do: AI receptionist + appointment-reminder + missed-call SMS in one platform. Dental-only — meaning the preset library is deeper than generic competitors. Decent integration with Dentrix and PracticeWorks.

PDPA stance: US-resident, similar caveat to Arini.

Best fit: SG dental clinics already using Dentrix or PracticeWorks and willing to handle the cross-border PDPA setup.

4. Rondah

Pricing: USD $299-599/month. Healthcare-adjacent (not dental-specific) — covers vet + general medical too.

What they do: Multi-vertical AI receptionist. Less dental-specific terminology, but solid general-purpose call handling and a friendly demo experience. Decent at qualification but less strong at treatment-specific quoting.

Best fit: SG clinics that want one AI for a group practice covering dental + GP + paediatrics under one parent.

5. Smith.ai

Pricing: USD $140-3000/month depending on whether you pick AI-only or AI-plus-human escalation.

What they do: Hybrid AI + human virtual receptionist. The biggest brand in the category, with the deepest call-handling playbook. Strong if you want a human to pick up when the AI flags uncertainty.

Where it falls short for SG: Human escalation routes to US-based agents. The handoff is real (you're paying for a person to pick up at 3 AM SG time), but the agent has zero SG context. Patients hearing a US accent quoting a clinic in Tampines often hang up.

Best fit: SG clinics with low call volume (under 50/month) that genuinely want human backup and don't mind US escalation.

6. Trelinx

Pricing: SGD bespoke, typically SGD $1,500-3,000/month for a fully-configured deployment.

What they do: Singapore-headquartered AI clinic platform. Phone, WhatsApp, and web chat in one. Strong PDPA stance because they're a SG entity. Onboarding is hands-on with their team.

Where it falls short: long onboarding (2+ weeks) and pricing climbs fast if you need custom integrations. The platform is fully featured but most of those features cost extra.

Best fit: larger SG dental chains (3+ locations) that want a SG-resident vendor and have a budget for a 12-month enterprise contract.

7. GetViva (Viva AI)

Pricing: USD $199-399/month.

What they do: Lightweight AI phone agent positioned for solo and 2-chair clinics. Fast self-serve setup — typically live within a day. Limited integration depth.

Where it falls short: minimal dental-specific tuning, no native Cliniko integration as of mid-2026, and the booking-confirmation flow has historically required manual reconciliation if your scheduler is anything other than Calendly.

Best fit: solo SG dentists who want a basic 24/7 voicemail-killer and don't need clinical-grade qualification.

8. Sundae

Pricing: USD $249-449/month. Newer entrant, fewer reference clinics.

What they do: Dental-specialised AI receptionist with strong patient-recall (no-show recovery) workflow built in.

Where it falls short: small US-focused customer base, no SG references we've been able to verify, and the integrations are thin (basically Calendly).

Best fit: dental clinics where no-show recovery is the #1 problem and you'd rather buy a tool that's laser-focused on that than a generalist.

Decision matrix — what to pick if

You want the cheapest possible AI for under-50 calls/month: Smith.ai AI-only tier at USD $140/month is hard to beat. Tradeoff: US-based escalation.

You want SGD billing + SG PDPA stance + 48-hour setup: Logara or Trelinx. We bias toward Logara at sub-3-clinic scale (lower price, faster onboard) and Trelinx at 3+ clinic scale (more bespoke integration depth).

You're a cosmetic/ortho-heavy clinic and accent handling matters: Arini. Worth the USD billing overhead.

You're running a multi-vertical group (dental + GP + paeds under one parent): Rondah.

You already use Dentrix: Dentina.

No-show recovery is the only thing you actually need: Sundae.

What none of these solve

Every vendor on this list is a phone-side tool. None solve the upstream problem of why your phone isn't ringing in the first place. If your Google Business Profile is mid, your reviews are stale, and you don't show up on Google.com.sg or ChatGPT for “dentist Orchard” — the best AI receptionist in the world picks up zero calls. SEO + AEO + reviews come first; receptionist second.

Logara bundles SEO + AEO + reviews + receptionist into one offer for that reason. Other vendors don't — and that's a real reason to consider us, but it's also a real reason to consider a focused-on-receptionist tool plus a separate SEO agency. Either is a defensible choice. Just don't buy a receptionist without solving discovery first.

How to test before you commit

Three free tests every SG dental clinic owner should run before signing with any vendor on this list:

  1. Book the vendor demo. Then call their demo number twice — once with a simple Invisalign price question, once with a complex out-of-hours emergency. Measure: did the AI answer accurately, did the booking actually land in your test calendar, was the WhatsApp/SMS summary accurate?
  2. Ask for two SG clinic references with named contacts. If they can't provide them, that's a real signal. Logara, Arini, Trelinx have SG references; the others may not.
  3. Get the DPA in writing. Read the data residency clause. If the answer is “data is processed in the US/EU under SCCs”, your lawyer needs to sign off — that's not a deal-breaker but it's a real review step.

Final word

AI receptionists for SG dental are a real, working category in 2026. The wrong question is which one is best. The right questions are which one bills in the currency I want, sits closest to my booking system, signs a DPA I can defend, and goes live before I lose another month of after-hours calls. If we can't answer all four for your clinic, we'll tell you on the discovery call — and point you at one of the seven other vendors above.
